St Clement's High School

Time to celebrate

Students at our school have marked the occasion of the King’s Coronation by fixing their own place in history.

All our year groups worked together to select items to be included in a Coronation time capsule, which was buried in the grounds of the school.

Recordings were also made of the students talking about their lives to provide a lasting legacy of the historic event.

Other West Norfolk Academy Trust schools joined us in celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III.

Smithdon students recreated the King’s official cypher on the school playing field using their uniform to provide the red, white and blue for an image captured by a drone.

Snettisham Primary had a street party and created crowns and pupils at Clenchwarton chose a Commonwealth country to study as part of the celebration - which also included a picnic.

West Lynn children played croquet and staged a royal treasure hunt and street party and Walpole Cross Keys pupils got creative and designed collages and stamps with a royal theme.
