Raising Awareness on Number Day

For NSPCC Number Day on 5th February, we raised an amazing £199.54. The main activity was “Donate Your Loose Change”.

Students and staff were asked to donate any loose change they had so we could create a “Carpet of Money” The money donated made a carpet area of over 2m2.

Other activities included a Bake Sale, Treasure Hunt, Guess the Weight and a Maths Quiz of “What is your teacher’s number?”. Teachers were allocated a number to wear for the day and students had to track down their teacher and answer the maths problem linked to those numbers,

eg. Ms Turner x Mr Modica = ? 14x28 = 392

We raised £200 - well done!!!
