St Clement's High School

UEA Stem Day

UEA Bring Scientist To You   -   On Wednesday 24th June , St Clements High School held a STEM Day for a cluster of schools including Springwood, Marshland, KES and KLA, provided by the UEA.

UEA STEMNET is a national, Government-funded organisation set up to enhance the teaching and learning experience of the STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) in schools and colleges.  Pupils from these schools came together to discover various technologies including The science behind Slime, Making Potions and Lotions, Robotics, Finding your DNA, Maths Activities and Volcanic Risk.  A Careers Talk was held at the end of the day with question and answer sessions.  The activities were a great success and all the pupils found the day exciting and interesting.  A big thank you to all the UEA staff and Dr Withers for organising the day.
